Overall a good value of money - given the location, room decor & cleanliness and price!
We booked quite a few rooms for our family and recommended to some of our wedding guests to stay in La Palma. Overall, we were happy with our stay. Location was super central and easy reach to the popular streets and restaurants in at capri and bus terminal to Anacapri. It was so central that i could walk to all my other wedding guests' hotels to welcome them personally; and had become our meeting point. Upon arrival, both men at the reception were very helpful and accommodating. Room was spacious for italy standard. Bathrooms were clean and air conditioning made it extra comfortable during the hot summer. Continental breakfast was not bad, too.
However, the checkout service was very slow and messy, despite telling the receptionist (different to the check-in guys) that we are late for our ferry. He couldnt understand/converse in english very well. Minor comment re the room- We noticed there were water -leak stains on the ceiling of our bathroom. Also, our room had a balcony but it faces the (not-so-pretty) backyard (of other hotel?). There were lack of facilities given that it is a 4 star hotel - pool etc.
